Sunday school
Toddlers (thru 5) We consider it our responsibility to instill a love for the Word of God in all age groups, including our younger ones. Sister Louisa Lake takes care of our younger ones during the Sunday school time with songs, Bible stories, coloring, and simple verse memorization. Primaries (6-8) Kids in the ages 6 to 8 are encouraged to apply principles from Bible stories to their lives as they discover God’s will for their lives. Sister Johanna Baarh has a group of about four kids for the weekly classes. Middlers (9-10) The middles class has eight boys and girls and Sister Betty Browne has the responsibility to teach them to love the Word of God and trust Him in everything they do. Junior (11-13) Sister Edith Hodgson, who is also the Sunday school coordinator, teaches the junior class consisting of four boys and girls. The challenge is to make daily Bible reading a normal part of the weekly activities. Teens (14-18) Elder Carl Arrindell has a class of two teens in which he teaches them to see how God is active in our lives and join Him where He is at work. Adults (19 up) Our adult Sunday school ministry is designed to promote a healthy participation of God’s people in discovering the truth of God’s Word. Elder Bernarde MacFarlane has the responsibility to demonstrate how the Bible is relevant to everyday living.
