Sunday School
Sister Edith Hodgson teaches the teens class. The challenge is to make daily Bible reading a normal part of the weekly activities.
Children's Church
Since 2017 we have implemented Children’s Church for all kids between the ages of 6 and 12, where we teach the kids about the word of God in an interactive manner.
Children’s Church is a two-hour program each Sunday starting at 9:00 a.m. Each week we have a different teacher leading the kids. Currently serving in this team are sister Betty Browne, sister Wilhelmina Boekhoudt, sister Gina Mardenborough and sister Natasha Browne.
Shine Like Stars
Our purpose with Shine Like Stars ministry is to teach the truths of the Bible according to the age level of the kids. We believe that it is important for children to have a strong base of biblical knowledge so they can build on that foundation for the rest of their lives.
The leadership team is under direction of Sister Marlene who is being assisted by Gina and Rick. There is always a need for laborers of the harvest, therefore, please pray for more laborers for this vital ministry. The weekly program consists of Bible stories, games, verse memorization, application in small group and snack time.
Nursery
For the parents with little ones between the ages of 0-5 we offer a nursery available during the service. Our sister Felicia Arrindell is leading this ministry.
Teens for Truth
The purpose of the Teens for Truth Ministry is to bring about a transformation in the lives of our teens through the Word of God. Our teens need to be rooted and grounded in the Word so that they are able to defend the faith in this culture of no absolutes.
God’s Word is the foundation for living the Christian life because what we believe determines how we live. However, love must be the binding factor in the process of putting doctrine into practice.
The challenge is to our help our teens identify what is of the Lord, and what is of the world. Our church is currently seeking the Lord’s face to provide a Youth Pastor to lead our youth ministry for the coming years.
Teens for Truth is a two hour program every second Friday starting at 7:00 p.m.
